INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED SESSIONS

During the Intermediate / Advanced managed sessions players will be matched based on ability and play potentially up to 6 rounds of Pickleball, 3 initial rounds with matched players on a single court after that winners vs winners and losers vs losers etc. Ahead of the start of the session there will be guided drills. I anticipate those being different every week or we can decided together to work on a skill for several weeks.
THE SESSION:
Introduction
Warm-ups
Player match based on ability
Drill demo and a 15-minute drill session
Matched play for 3 rounds
Matched play based on wins/losses for up to a further 3 rounds, time allowing
Optional to record scores on DUPR score sheet
Record wins and losses on score sheet
Scoring will be based on 'side-out' scoring and may vary to include rally scoring formats too
Cost is £10 for 2 hours which includes court hire, guided drills, managed play and an optional service (with players agreement) for scores to be added to DUPR, to help your rating. Please ensure that you have a DUPR account and you can register, free of charge, via: mydupr.com.
Notes:
Upon registration I ask a question to ensure attendees have a minimum rating of 2.75, the only reason this is there is to prevent complete beginners and/or improvers signing up, if you have received this email then I am happy for you to attend, although in time you may decide differently, it is up to you. It may take a few sessions to balance things out and I appreciate I only have limited (12) places} and attendance can vary depending on people’s interest and availability.
If the sessions become popular it may be possible to add an extra slot ahead of it, i.e. 8-10am for early risers.
If we don't have enough attendees, I may have to cancel the session and postpone it to the following month or provide you with a refund.
